Project summary

The site was identified by Windlab Systems in late 2007.

The site is currently undergoing pre-feasibility studies. The Crown land securement process is underway. The licence of occupation (LOC) for the site has been filed. Upon approval, wind monitoring of the site can begin.

An initial flora and fauna investigation into the site was conducted in late 2008. The conclusion from this was that there are some at-risk bird species in the region. Therefore, conservation measures should be undertaken throughout the project life.
