Windlab is actively developing wind energy sites in a number of countries. Within these countries, our engineering team applies our technology to model the wind speeds across a given region. From this we can select sites that have a high potential for wind farm development.
However, there is much more to a site than just a favourable wind regime. Topography, flora and fauna, housing, and transmission are all considered early in the project to indentify areas that are not favourable for wind power. This leaves us with a handful of highly promising sites. This strong focus on technical excellence allows us to concentrate our efforts on sites most likely to be viable.
